Bookings

A booking holds a table for about 90 minutes from the time booked. We hold a table for 15 minutes past the booked time, then release it. Please cancel if your plans change; you can do it by phone, text or chat in a moment.

Messaging programme

By texting Lantern & Rye you agree to receive replies about your request and your bookings. Message frequency varies with your conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The assistant

Our phone, text and web chat are answered first by an AI assistant. It can book and cancel tables and answer questions from information we have approved. It will put you through to a person, or arrange for one to call you back, whenever it cannot help.
